Derek Koller

Derek Koller is a non-traditional graduate student at the University of Arizona pursuing a graduate degree in Public Health: Industrial Hygiene. In 2007, Mr. Koller was working in construction when he had the opportunity to enroll in an EPA-funded Environmental Technician Job Training Program facilitated by the City of Tucson. After completing the program, Mr. Koller obtained an entry-level position with an Environmental consulting firm and has been working in consulting field ever since. While working, Mr. Koller decided to go back to school, earning an Associate Degree from Pima Community College and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona. He is also a past-president for the Couther Arizona Environmental Management Society and was also recently elected to the Board of Directors for Tucson Clean and Beautiful. When not working or doing school work, Mr. Koller enjoys spending time with his lovely wife Tanya and their three beautiful daughters, Alex, Jesse, and Bella.
